The question is, do marijuana and surgery go hand and hand?

Summary: according to the “science,” marijuana users experience a 14% increase in pain the first 24 hours following surgery than non-marijuana users. Furthermore, marijuana users consumed 7% more opioids post-op.

Do adults have more pain post-op compared to those that smoke?

This topic is not mentioned enough and should be brought to light. The “latest” studies indicate that people who smoke marijuana are in more pain than those that do not.

Is this some sort of joke? If this is the case, then why are states decriminalizing Mary Jane?

According to one study, “cannabis is one of the most commonly used illicit drugs in the United States and increasingly used as an alternative treatment for common pain, but there is “limited” data that shows how it affects patient outcomes post-op.” By Elyad Ekrami, M.D.

Now, the question is who ran this study and for how long? Those out there that do their homework will tell you that information, especially mainstream, can be skewed for a reason.

Moreover, as long as I have been alive, never have I seen anyone grouse about the use of weed when in dire pain or post-op.

Usually, it is the medical establishment pushing opiates for pain, and this is how addiction starts. Marijuana, as far as I know, has helped many people I knew in the hospital recover and mitigated pain.

Some studies are disseminated as “fact” because it serves a hidden agenda. Think about this for a hot second, what makes more money, opiate users or pot smokers, before decriminalization?

The medical mafia is a multi-billion dollar cartel predicated off of keeping the masses in perpetual sickness.

Do adults have more pain post-op is it scored solely by the individual? The answer is yes. There is no such thing as a one-shot deal; however, there are fewer bodily and physiological risks compared to pills.

The dangers of opioids.

Drugs run western medicine. It is their life force, and getting people to take prescription drugs is the solution to every issue known to the world of the west.

The funny thing about this comparison between marijuana and prescription drugs is weed is called a drug, and the pills are called medicine.

Oe can be grown at home, while the other need to be branded with names like Pfizer, or Monsanto to make it legit for sale.

You see, health is wealth and this is why I created this website so I can expose a lot of the nefarious ways of our corrupt system.

One of the dangers of opioids is their potential for addiction. When taken as prescribed, opioids can be safe and effective, but when misused, they can lead to addiction and overdose.

According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, more than 2 million people in the United States suffer from opioid addiction.

Opioids work by binding to receptors in the brain and spinal cord, which reduces the perception of pain. However, they also produce feelings of pleasure, which can lead to misuse.

People who misuse opioids may start taking them more often or in higher doses than prescribed, or they may take them without a prescription. This can lead to tolerance, meaning that the person needs increasingly larger doses to get the same effect.

With continued misuse, dependence can develop, which means that the person experiences withdrawal symptoms when they try to stop taking opioids. These symptoms can include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, muscle aches, and anxiety.

Opioid addiction is a serious problem with potentially devastating consequences.

There is no detox for marijuana, only after you punish a large pizza to the face 😜.

People I knew opted for the weed to help quell the pain instead of relying on the pills due to the fact of how it made each of them feel afterward. Some of them do not permit you to drive, at least with weed, you are good.

Marijuana and surgery do go together like kool-aid and sugar. While not for everyone, marijuana is a safer option due to its side effects alone.

What are the dangers of marijuana?

The only danger I can come up with off the top of my head is that no food or drink is safe once the marijuana is smoked.

Marijuana is often thought of as a harmless drug, but it can be pretty dangerous. The active ingredient in marijuana, THC, can stay in your system for days or even weeks after you use it.

This means you could be impaired while driving, operating machinery, or even just walking around (depending on the individual). Marijuana use has also been linked to an increased risk of developing mental health problems, such as anxiety and psychosis.

Certain strains can cause paranoia or panic attacks even.

So, while marijuana may not be as dangerous as some other drugs, it is still essential to be aware of the potential risks before using it.

However, it is still innocuous compared to opioids. I used to see cats selling prescribed drugs for twenty dollars a pill.

The side-effect is way less in comparison to the synthetic brand of opioids.

Another danger of marijuana is you can go broke depending on if you go black market versus dispensaries.

Massachusetts whacks you twenty percent sales tax on any plant purchased to burn or ingest. INSANE!

Marijuana and surgery, to me, are healthcare.

Marijuana and surgery final thoughts.

It is essential to discuss the use of marijuana with your surgeon before having any surgery.

There are potential risks associated with using marijuana before surgery, and your surgeon will need to know if you have used it to make sure that the surgery is as safe as possible. In general, it is best to avoid using marijuana for at least two weeks before surgery.

If you have any questions or concerns, I would advise that you ask your healthcare provider for feedback.

Finally, remember this. No one knows your body better than you do so do not hesitate to speak up about what has worked for you in the past.

Years ago, we used to be embarrassed to admit we smoked weed, but now times have changed. No longer are the days of being shameful of toking up.

To me, marijuana is the lesser of two evils. Marijuana has never killed anyone, never overdosed on it, and not become addicted to it.

The positives outweigh the negatives of smoking to help reduce pain.
